Photography Sessions
Scheduling: Requests for photo sessions should be sent by email at least 7 business days before the desired date. Include session details such as date, time, location preferences (garden or museum), and participant names.

Indoor Photography Guidelines: No flash photography is allowed inside the museum. Exceptions are rare and must be pre-approved. Museum art and artifacts will not be moved and cannot be used as props.

Photographs may not be commercial in nature or resold for commercial purposes.A contract and fee may be required.

Film Shoots and Commercial Photography
The museum’s grounds and interior are available for professional projects, such as film, television, advertisements, documentaries, and digital content creation (e.g., YouTube, TikTok).

Scheduling: Requests for photo sessions should be sent by email to functions@rjdmuseum.org at least 14 business days before the desired date. Include project details such as the proposed dates, timelines, location preferences (garden or museum) and the scope of work. A contract and fee is required.

Drone Photography
Drone usage is generally not permitted on museum grounds. Exceptions must be approved by the functions department in advance. All drone operators must be properly licensed and observant of FAA regulations. A contract and fee is required.
Museum’s Right to Photograph Visitors
The Rotch-Jones-Duff House and Garden Museum reserves the right to photograph or film visitors on its grounds or in its museum. These images may be used for promotional purposes, including publications, marketing, and media.
